Plate diameter is 17.7" for all plates except 10 lb plates. 10 lb plates are slightly smaller diameter to help them last longer when combined with the larger plates. **IMPORTANT**: 5lb technique plates are not meant to be dropped. These are designed to help with learning the Olympic lifts, by allowing the user to start the pull from the correct height.
